Saints vs. Bucs Free Pick 12/11/16 – Teaser Special

A pair of NFC South rivals will collide at Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida on Sunday afternoon when the 7-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the 5-7 New Orleans Saints. The game has a 4:25 PM ET and will be televised on FOX.

Saints vs. Bucs Free Pick – 6.5-Point Teaser

The Saints have dropped three of their last four games, the lone win during that stretch a 49-21 blowout victory over the Rams. They’re still 7-0 ATS in their last seven road games and looking to bounce back from a disappointing 28-13 home loss to Detroit last week.

Drew Brees threw for 326 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions against the Lions and the team struggled to get any ground game going. Brees should be doing better this week as he has averaged 335 passing yards in his last five games at Tampa Bay.

Note that the Saints are 7-0 ATS in their last seven games following a straight up loss of more than 14 points while the under is 6-2 in the Saints last eight road games.

Four consecutive wins have brought the Bucs to the top of the division, a spot they share with Atlanta. They’ve covered the spread in each of those four games, but are just 7-16 ATS in their last 23 games in the month of December. They’re coming off a 28-21 win at San Diego, and the Bucs defense held Philip Rivers in check as he threw for just 225 yards, a pair of touchdowns and was picked off twice. Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston had a decent game, but Tampa Bay’s receiving corps is banged up and he threw for just 182 yards in a 24-17 loss to New Orleans here at Raymond James Stadium last year.

New Orleans Saints has won eight of the last nine meetings between the division rivals while each of the last three meetings have gone under the total.
