The Angle(s): This is a tough spot for the UCLA Bruins to cover a number this large. They’ve won every game and covered every spread this season, which has the market pricing them at their peak, and now they get a non-conference game sandwiched between Big Ten matchups with a road trip to Minnesota on deck. Laying more than three touchdowns in a lookahead spot is asking a lot.
UCLA’s offense also isn’t built to blow teams as the Bruins rank among the national leaders in time of possession, lean on a ball-control ground game, and have scored 28 or fewer points in each of their last three games.
