The Angle(s): Sure, Robbie Ray’s (3–6, 4.28 ERA) numbers don’t look all that impressive at a glance, but note that he is 3–1 with a 1.91 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and just six runs allowed over 28 1/3 innings in his home starts. Fresh off his worst start of the season, against a White Sox team he’s posted a respectable 2.78 ERA against in previous meetings, this looks like a good spot for him to bounce back.

The Angle(s): The Los Angeles Dodgers have at 17–10 straight up and 16–10 against the runline been one of the most profitable road favorites this season, so why bother with the moneyline when we can get a much better price on the runline?

Milwaukee has won Brandon Sproat’s (1-2, 5.75 ERA) last three starts, but he’s given up six runs across nine innings in the last two. Milwaukee’s bats have been inconsistent against quality right-handed pitching, and I don’t think the Brew Crew can provide enough run support in this one.

Thunder/Spurs NBA BOOKIE BU$TER

The Angle(s): Now on a 4-0 run with NBA and 12-5 (71%) with NBA since May 4, I feel like I have a good read on the series. In my preview for backing OKC in Game 3 , I wrote the following, and everything still applies. Sure, OKC has already taken back home court advantage, but surely they want to wax the Spurs again.

"The San Antonio Spurs won the series opener in dramatic fashion, but the Oklahoma City Thunder roared back to take Game 2. Now the series shifts to San Antonio, and I don’t think OKC will waste a single minute before taking back home-court advantage. Oklahoma City’s bench outscored San Antonio’s 57–25 in Game 2, highlighting the Thunder’s depth advantage, which becomes even more critical with the Spurs’ backcourt injuries stacking up. My heart says Spurs, but my brain says; gimme the Thunder, as I think the wrong team is favored."

The Angle(s): After three consecutive losses, West Ham needs a win in the last game of the season to avoid relegation, but the result here becomes irrelevant if Tottenham doesn’t lose to Everton. This match means little for Leeds, but they’ve closed out the season strong, going unbeaten in their last eight Premier League games. Sides in must-win, relegation-threatened spots can often become overly stretched and vulnerable in transition. Gimme the dawg.

The Angle(s): This looks like a good spot to back the Cleveland Guardians who had won seven on the bounce before a 3-0 shutout loss on Saturday. On the season, Cleveland is perfect 4-0 off a shutout loss and they've won left-hander Parker Messick's (5-1, 2.45 ERA) last three starts, while Philly hasn't done too well with Andrew Painter (1-4, 5.77 ERA) on the hill.
