The Boston Red Sox are coming off a 4-3 win against Pittsburgh and have alternated wins and losses through their last six games, but tonight they’ll host a Tampa Bay Rays side that is coming off three straight losses to the Yankees.

Vince Velasquez (0-1, 9.00 ERA) takes the ball for the Phillies. He lasted only four innings of a 7-6 loss against Washington in his season debut, but struck out 10 while allowing four runs on five hits (two homers).

The White Sox hand the ball to left-hander Jose Quintana (0-1, 10.13 ERA) who was roughed up by the Tigers in his season debut, but he’s bound to bounce back with a big performance here.
