In this article I will outline my NFL Week 10 expert predictions that didn’t quite make the cut as premium picks, but they’re still worth putting a couple of units at. So here we go.
NFL Week 10 Expert Predictions
Packers vs. Titans – Total Over 49.5
The Green Bay Packers are coming off a 31-26 loss to the Colts last week, their third defeat in four games. Each of their last two games have gone over the total and the over is 25-12 in the Packers last 37 games after allowing more than 30 points in their previous game.
The good news is that Aaron Rodgers had a solid game, throwing for a total of 297 yards for a total of three touchdowns and only a single pick. Rodgers has passed for 10 touchdowns in his last three outings and could have another field day here against a Tennessee Titans defense that struggled big time in a 43-25 loss at San Diego in Week 9.
Each of the Titans last six games have gone over the total and I think they’ll put up plenty of points here at Nissan Stadium. Titans’ quarterback Marcus Mariota is rarely having a bad game in front of the home fans and running back Demarco Murray has carried the ball into the end zone in four consecutive games.
Dolphins +3.5 vs. Chargers
The Miami Dolphins have covered the spread in seven of the last 10 meetings with the San Diego Chargers, and why wouldn’t they be able to cover a field goal here at Qualcomm Stadium. The Dolphins are coming off three consecutive wins home in Miami despite being favored against the spread in just one of the games. Miami has yet to win a game on the road this season, but keep in mind that we’re not betting on them to win outright, just cover the spread.
The Chargers have won three of their last four and they scored a season high 43 points when they hosted the Titans last week. They also allowed the Titans to score 35 points though, and they’re 26th in the nation at defense for the season in allowing 27.4 points per game. Miami’s defense is much more solid in allowing 22.8 points per game, and we might see a let down game from the Chargers as they’re 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games following a straight up win.
