The Toronto Blue Jays lead the season series 3-1 after taking two of three in Philadelphia back in May and claiming the opener of this series 4-2 on Friday night. I do however like the Phillies to come through with a win here Saturday afternoon.
Nick Pivetta (7-10, 4.66 ERA) will take the ball for Philly. The right-hander held the Blue Jays to two runs, four hits and two walks while striking out seven in five innings back in May, and he owns a solid 3.31 ERA in day games on the season.
Toronto turns to right-hander Aaron Sanchez (3-5, 4.52 ERA) who has missed more than two months due a finger injury. Sanchez has really struggled in his three rehab starts, posting a 6.55 ERA and 11/10 K/BB ratio over 11 innings of work.
Blue Jays are 2-6 in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a winning record.
Free pick on Philadelphia Phillies.
Mike Lundin cashed his NFLX GAME OF THE MONTH with the Panthers Friday night, and he’s got a pair of BIG TICKETS locked and loaded for Saturday. Get on the right side of both Mike’s SOCCER & MLB GAME OF THE WEEK releases and MAKE YOUR BOOKIE PAY THE PRICE.
